Yemen Linnet (Acanthis yemenensis)
Issued in the 1960s as part of the Birds definitive series of the Yemen Arab Republic (Y.A.R.), this stamp commemorates the Yemen Linnet (Acanthis yemenensis), a bird species native to the highlands of Yemen and parts of the southwestern Arabian Peninsula.
